When I lived in Colombia, my friends used to call me by my second name, Fernando —and over time, that turned into Fer.
Years later, when Phineas and Ferb became a hit, people started calling me Ferb because they said we looked alike (big nose, curious mind, and always ready with a random fact). The nickname stuck… and I made it part of my identity.
That's how Fer became Ferb, and eventually ferbperdomo —a mix of my name, my story, and a character who's always building something clever.
Unlike Ferb, I actually talk quite a lot —being a former teacher taught me how to explain things clearly and connect through communication— but I share his calm, creative side when I'm focused on a project.
Fun fact: in the show, Ferb speaks only about 8% of the time, which is still more than the percentage of people who actually read "About" sections on websites.
